Your skin may fall neatly into one of the following categories. However, it may at times fall into more than one category. For example, your skin may be drier in the winter and oilier in the summer.

dry or sensitive skin

Often feels tight, sometimes flakes and can appear dull. Sensitive skin, which is often dry as well, is easily irritated, prone to reactions and sometimes looks red and blotchy.

normal to dry skin

Feels normal in the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin), but tight and dry in patches, generally in the cheek and eye areas.

normal to oily skin

Is oily through the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) and normal throughout the cheeks and around the eyes.

oily or acne prone skin

Has a constant shine to it due to excessive sebum production and a tendency to attract more dirt and dust than other skin types, making it prone to acne and blemishes.
